Since joining Virnig, my video capabilities have expanded dramatically, becoming a key part of how we tell our story and showcase our attachments in action. In 2024, I earned my Remote Pilot certification and began flying a DJI Mavic drone, capturing elevated perspectives that bring a cinematic quality to our footage. Alongside drone work, I frequently run up to three GoPros, my personal Nikon Z50, and even my phone when a great on-the-fly shot presents itself. Earlier in my role, I handled our Sony A7 on a gimbal, and while our graphic designer now operates that setup, the experience broadened my foundation in stabilizer-based filming and multi-camera coordination.
My approach to video production blends planning, adaptability, and a strong sense of storytelling. I focus heavily on selecting the right mix of action angles and dynamic shots to build visual energy, whether the goal is a fast-paced reel for social or a polished, in-depth walkaround video. I’m intentional about music and audio selection, choosing tracks and sound effects that heighten the pace or mood, and pairing them with thoughtful transitions, titles, and motion graphics to create a cohesive final piece.
In post-production, I work primarily in DaVinci Resolve Studio and have taught myself a wide range of Fusion tools to enhance footage and solve editing challenges. This includes everything from subtle color and lighting corrections to special effects and more advanced techniques, like removing competitor branding when we showcased why our broom outperformed theirs. Each project pushes me to learn something new, and I love using those skills to produce videos that feel sharp, purposeful, and uniquely Virnig.
Here are a few of my favorites, and you can witness the evolution of my craft on any Virnig social channels, especially YouTube. I’ve played a role in every single video from mid-2022 onward.
