To celebrate Virnig Manufacturing’s 35th anniversary, I developed a commemorative logo that blended history, personality, and modern branding. The final mark became a fun and meaningful visual used across internal communications, event promotions, apparel, promo items, videos, and social channels. I explored multiple creative directions, as seen below. From playful concepts to more traditional badge-style logos, I presented a wide range of options then refined them based on team feedback.
The chosen design paid tribute to one of Virnig’s earliest brand elements, the classic “welder man.” By integrating this nostalgic figure with an updated layout, modern typography, and a clean presentation of the 35-year milestone, the logo honored the company’s roots while still aligning with today’s brand identity.

Here are a few of the many social posts I crafted throughout the year that celebrate our history and milestone. We had fun with interactive games, trivia, and recreating throwbacks. We included employees, dealers, and end users in our festivities, and celebrated the entire year.
